STARSHINE


The stars collapsed
Diminishing itself into speckles of stardust
Some of which landed on your eyes
Now the only sparkle
Lighting my way back home

You may not know it, love
But, you gleam brighter
Than the northern star
If I leaned in closer,
and whispered to you ears softly,
"You're my favourite star"
Would you listen?
